About The Sage Institute for Mental Health
Located just two hours from the Orlando International Airport, we offer a safe and private space for adults and young adults to get the help they need with the help of medical, psychological, fitness, and nutritional experts. Our 60- and 90-day programs tailor the experience to each patient’s unique needs.
The Sage Institute for Mental Health was established in 2018 by Ed Sage, LCSW, CASAC, who has worked in the addiction and mental health field for over 25 years in both residential programs and a private practice setting. Ed, along with his specialized staff have treated over 1000 patients over the years. We work closely with families to keep them informed of their family member’s progress, pain points, and future trajectory. Plus, with our trained staff and a high staff-to-client ratio, you can be assured your loved one is getting the attention they need.
With ’round the clock security, on-site medical staff, patients can feel comfortable that their surrounds will allow them to safely heal.
We take patient privacy seriously. All data is stored on password-protected HIPAA-compliant servers with the latest security standards.
Evidence-based practice integrates the best current research, clinical expertise, and patients preferences to provide the best possible care (Spring, 2007).
We aim to implement evidence based strategies with fidelity and flexibility by adjusting treatments based on individual differences between patients to improve treatment adherence (McHugh, Murray, & Barlow, 2009).
Our program looks to ensure patients not only have success in the program, but also after. We offer a variety of tools to ensure you maintain your progress and continue to live a successful life.
Are you an investor?
We are currently looking for investors who are looking to make a difference in the mental health community. Help influence a lasting change that will inform research for decades to come.
About The Program Director
Edward Sage, LCSW, CASAC, OASAS
After receiving his Masters Degree in Social Work from NYU in 1992, Ed began working at St. Vincent’s Hospital, where he treated over 1,000 patients with a variety of developmental, addiction, and psychological issues.
Ed soon moved into private practice, where he decided to work with young adults and their parents. Throughout his 25+ years he sent patients to inpatient and outpatient programs where it was either ineffective or only effective on a limited basis.
Ed wanted to challenge this troubled model so he formed the Sage Institute for Mental Health.
We’re looking for people who have a similar mindset and want to take the research and model to the next level.
We’re currently looking for motivated professionals who are looking to make a different in the inpatient rehab world. We provide staffing opportunities for vets who are looking for a tight-knit community focused around discipline and results.
